WATERTOWN — Joe McGee will be at the Watertown Library at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, for a book talk with PowerPoint presentation and signing.

Mr. McGee is the author of “Leadership Lessons Inspired By A Six Year Old.” This book correlates the lessons of raising children to properly raising a team in the workplace.
After the presentation there will be time for Q&A and attendees will have the opportunity to win the book.
The talk will cover a few sections of the book including:
- Chapter Two: Avoid Tunnel Vision. Sometimes simplicity is best and often overlooked.
- Chapter Three: LTA principle and “The Pearl Necklace.” Learn how to instill confidence and become the subject matter expert
- Chapter Five: Show and Tell is a must. Why it’s important to use objects to emphasize points.
Following the talk there will be a Q&A period and book signing. Attendees will have the opportunity to win a copy of the book. This event is free and open to the public.
Mr. McGee is a graduate of Watertown High School, Class of 2000. He is a leadership consultant and also the President of the CT HDI Chapter, a professional association and certification body for the technical service and support industry. He is Six Sigma Black Belt Certified. He has over 16 years of experience in the I.T. industry for leading corporate, financial and educational organizations. He has held various positions as a technical trainer, I.T. analyst, website developer, manager and desktop support technician. He lives in Connecticut with his wife and three children.
